At least one member of each party in attendance at the children’s luncheon must purchase a copy of Marianne’s book, for a total luncheon ticket price of $30. All other members of each party will only pay $12 for the luncheon. This event is limited to 30 attendees.

Children’s Luncheon Menu

All menu items will come with soda pop, coffee, tea or iced tea. There are 3 menu options for adults and 4 for the kids.

There will be a craft project for children as well. Kids will be able to make their own secret portable staircase to take them to whichever room they dream of, as in the book.

Adult Meals

Double-Crossing Dora’s Two-Faced Muffin Melts
Two small open-faced toasted English muffin sandwiches, one served with homemade chicken breast, almond and apple salad topped with cheddar cheese. The other will be served with homemade egg salad topped with dill havarti cheese. Both halves are toasted and served with field greens drizzled with herb balsamic dressing.

Dr. Bell’s Delicious Fruit Plate
A grilled, marinated chicken breast broiled with swiss cheese, topped with a pineapple slice and served with a plate of fresh, seasonal fruit.

Mom’s Not Just for Breakfast Crepes
A special lunchtime treat made with sun-dried tomato, spinach, button mushrooms and marinated chicken breast sauteed and tossed with penne pasta in a light parmesan cream sauce, drizzled with basil pesto and dusted with herb bread crumbs before being wrapped in crepes. Served with field greens lightly covered in herb balsamic dressing.

Kid Meals

Louisa’s 4th Story Club Sandwich
Our turkey and bacon triple decker club for kids served with fries, mac-n-cheese or fruit along with a special fourth floor…

Phoebe’s Silver Dollar Pancakes
A bunch of little silver dollar pancakes shaped like Phoebe’s silver tag. Served with powdered sugar and a choice of bacon or sausage.

Jack’s Secret Chocolate Chip-n-Whipped Cream Waffle Camera
Looks like a waffle but designed to catch Dora in the act… One of our delicious homemade waffles with whipped cream and chocolate chips.

Ruthie’s Isn’t Chicken-Chicken Tenders
She may not be as brave as Jack, but she’s no chicken… and she loves our homemade lightly battered chicken tenders served with fries, mac-n-cheese or fruit.
